University of Delhi announces Non NET Fellowship 2014 University of Delhi, announces admission for Non-NET Fellowship in botany for pursuing Ph.D at the Dept of Botany for 2014-15 session.

COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY

Applications are invited by University of Delhi from the candidates seeking admission to PhD programme in Botany, for UGCs Non-NET fellowships (Rs.8000/- pm consolidated plus Rs 10,000/- per annum contingency) in the subject areas of 1) Microbiology (Prof. Ved Pal Singh & Dr. Rupam Kapoor) 2) Ecology (Prof. K.S. Rao) 3) Systematic (Prof. A. K. Pandy) 4) Phycology (Prof. D.B. Sahoo) 5) Physiology (Dr. Renu Deswal & Dr. C.S. Seth) 6) Developmental Biology (Dr. Vishnu Bhat) 7) Molecular Biology (Dr. Priya Panjabi - Massand) The maximum number of candidates that could be admitted during this year is 12 (twelve) [6 general + 3 OBC + 2 SC + 1 ST]

CAREER PROSPECTS

Selected candidates will be considered for admission to PhD programme in Botany if they get a recommendation of registration from one of the faculty members of the Department Eligibility: The candidate from General and OBC categories should have a good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in M.Sc in the relevant subject and from SC/ST categories, they should have 50% marks in aggregate in M.Sc
